Our world-class olive oil is grown and bottled in Umbria, Italy.

Amelia
Umbria la storia
Our olive comes from the hills surrounding the town of Amelia which was named after the mythical king Ameroe in 1134 BC.
Umbria, known as the heart of Italy, is famous for its olive oil and includes local varieties like Raio, Leccino, and Moraiolo. Our product is sourced from orchards we own or from those of our partner growers in the region surrounding Amelia. Our hope is to raise awareness and bring these local growers (like ourselves) products to the world as well as bring back to life the many abandoned olive orchards in rural Italian villages

Respect for Tradition and Nature
Our growers value farming practices that have been passed down by generations in the heart of Italy. Our farming practices are light on the earth and allow trees to flourish with minimal external intervention.
We use organic fertilizers, natural pesticides, and rely on rain and minimal groundwater. After harvesting the olives, our local frantoio cold-presses the oil in a traditional Italian method used for hundreds of years and then pours it directly into our handmade ceramic bottles. These practices, that respect both nature and tradition, collectively bring an organic, healthy, and delicious olive oil we hope will continue to nurture family and friends for generations to come.

Allumbra
Our Olive oil
Only the finest olive oil is selected and bottled from our surrounding orchards. We harvest and process olives fresh after harvest and deliver it to your doorstep.
No blends, no mixing old olive oil with new, no tricks. Olive oil as it is meant to be, and you can taste the difference.
Don't be surprised if our olive oil tastes unlike any you have ever experienced. A true fresh extra virgin olive oil will have strong bitter, spicy and fruity flavors.
Large growers typically focus on a single variety. In fact, 50% of Spains' production comes from the Picual olive. Italy, however, is a land of variety and has well over 540 different types of olives cultivated throughout the country.
Central Italy is native to the Raio, Leccino and Moraiolo varieties and so that is what we grow, bottle and sell.
To match the uniqueness of our olive oil we bottle it in hand made ceramic bottles crafted in neighboring Abruzzo by a multi-generational family-owned ceramic maker.
A process refined over hundreds of years that can be tasted in every drop
